Recreated Excerpt of Rhythmus 21
Motion Design - History
Hans Richter rightly serves as an inspiration to many designers, especially in my case. I first discovered his work thanks to one of my favorite professors at SCAD. During my Motion Design History class, I was assigned to copy 15 seconds of Hans Richter: Rhythmus 21, and then transition into an interesting concept relating to Richter or motion history. I’ve always been particularly inspired by the dada movement, especially Richter’s films – so I combined the two styles of shapes and dada – plus, the smooth jazz, and created this short animation piece.
